Business Rules

A business rule is easier to act on when the relevant products and stores are easy to find. Business Rules now supports Apply Tag, which labels matching store-SKU combinations for use in inventory review.

Teams can filter by those tags in Smart Allocation, Smart Replenishment, In-Season Reaction and the scope wizard. The same rule-defined group can follow the team across these workflows, helping planners focus on the inventory that needs a particular policy or decision.

Catalog Management

Catalog Management now adds seasonality to the inventory indicators available across its views. Teams can review the expanded set at both SKU and product-color level, alongside total target stock for each product. This brings seasonal context and the stock position the business is aiming for into the same product review.

Why it matters: Merchandising teams can assess current inventory against its target and seasonal context before deciding where to investigate or act.


The indicator set has expanded to include seasonality across the screen’s views and at both SKU and product-color level. Total target stock, also called buffer, is shown at product level.

These additions help users distinguish the current stock position from the target used to guide inventory decisions. They build on the existing catalog workspace and its detailed product and store views.

Product Substitutes

Product substitute management has been upgraded with more precise stock limits and a fuller view of each relationship. Teams can set minimums and maximums by store, product and size, then review sales, availability, stock, in-transit units and replenishment for the linked items. The substitute detail view also supports edits, keeping review and adjustment together.

Why it matters: Teams can manage substitute relationships around the needs of a specific store and size, with the inventory context needed to judge each adjustment.


The detail view brings together the parent and substitute items, replenishment quantities, active minimum and maximum limits, and any rules that prevent supply. Sales, availability, stock and transit provide context for an edit.

Import templates support broader updates, while the finer store-product-size limits give teams control over individual cases.

In-Season Reaction

In-Season Reaction now supports a more focused view of the store network. Teams can narrow an analysis with store-level conditions, such as supply origin, and review the inventory and demand measures for that selected network. A clear Sub-network label shows when the result covers only part of the business.

Why it matters: Planners can make an in-season decision for the network they manage while keeping regional measures distinct from whole-network performance.


Store-level conditions narrow the network used for stock, sales, sales rate, coverage, sell-through and store counts. The scope preview uses the current configuration choices so teams can inspect the proposed analysis before running it.

Head, Belly and Tail classification remains based on the whole-network ranking. The screen identifies that distinction so a strong national performer is not automatically read as a strong performer in every regional cut.

Smart Inter-store Transfers

Smart Inter-store Transfers now lets teams review several routes, stores or product-colors in one selection. The transfer summaries and detail views follow that combined scope, while donor-to-receiver routes stay paired exactly as selected. Teams can see the active selection count and clear it when they are ready to review another group.

Why it matters: Transfer teams can review a group of proposed moves together and keep the route context visible as they move into the detail.


Select multiple rows in the By Route, By Store or By Product Color view. The transfer cards and lower detail views use that selection while the aggregate table remains available for comparison.

A route is treated as one donor-receiver pair. Selecting two routes does not introduce additional combinations between their stores. The interface keeps the selection count visible and provides one action to clear the scope.

Distribution Center Catalog

The Distribution Center Catalog brings target stock, inventory indicators and product and location attributes into one view for warehouse teams. Users can review the store-SKU positions represented at each distribution-center point, bringing more of the inventory context needed for supply decisions into the same workspace.

Why it matters: Warehouse and inventory teams can examine distribution-center positions alongside the targets and retail attributes that give those positions meaning.


The catalog combines target stock, inventory KPIs and product and location attributes at the store-SKU level for each distribution-center point. This gives the warehouse team a consistent starting point for inventory review.

The view complements Onebeat’s store-facing inventory workflows by making distribution-center context available in a dedicated catalog.

Integration Mapping

Integration Mapping has expanded to make complex data rules easier to define and inspect. Teams can search longer lists of source values, select several values in one condition, and use “is one of” or “is not one of” logic. The workbench also shows what destination columns accept and extends the mapping workflow to Orders.

Why it matters: Integration teams can express the retailer’s mapping rules more precisely and understand the requirements before applying incoming data.


Search and paginated value lists help users find the relevant source values beyond the first page. A selected-values view makes multi-value conditions easier to check.

Column guidance explains accepted values and validation requirements, including whether a check blocks saving or only warns. Orders can be mapped through the same workbench pattern as other integration entities. Clearer field-to-system mapping and value counts help users review the source catalog.

In-Season Reaction

In-Season Reaction brings product performance and inventory coverage into a focused decision workflow. It recommends whether to buy, maintain or exit a seasonal product-color, then calculates suggested purchase quantities by size. Teams can review sales, availability, stock, open orders and product age alongside the recommendation before deciding what to do next.

Why it matters: Planners can identify products worth supporting and products that need a different course while there is still time to act within the season.


The workflow combines inventory coverage bands with Head, Belly and Tail performance classification. Size-level detail shows the proposed purchase quantity needed to support the selected coverage target.

Teams can preview the portfolio in scope, inspect the supporting detail and export the results. These are recommendations for review; the workflow does not automatically change stock targets, supply restrictions or replenishment lists.

Seasonalities & Campaigns has been upgraded to help teams assess inventory needs before a seasonal peak or promotion. Planners can define the products and stores in scope and simulate the expected requirement against available distribution-center stock. The review shows where supply can cover the plan and where a gap needs attention.

Why it matters: Teams can prepare for seasonal demand with a clearer view of store needs and supply constraints before committing to the plan.


The workflow supports product and store scope, including store clusters, and compares the projected inventory requirement with stock available at the distribution center.

The simulation makes the expected need and the portion that supply can fill visible together. Planners can use that information to review a recurring season or one-off campaign and identify the gaps that need a preparation decision.

Catalog Management has expanded the context available for product and store decisions. Teams can move between product-color and SKU views, filter by their own retail attributes, and inspect supply-origin status, substitute relationships and rules that prevent replenishment. Detailed stock and sales history helps explain how the current position developed.

Why it matters: Merchandising and inventory teams can investigate a product’s position and its operating constraints in the same workspace.


The workflow combines retailer-specific product, SKU, store and SKU-store filters with supply-origin context and substitute visibility. Teams can apply mandatory supply restrictions, known in Onebeat as avoids, to individual rows or a wider selection.

A 180-day SKU-store history shows stock, sales, in-transit inventory, rolling sales and target-stock changes. This supports investigation of the current position before the team adjusts a rule or takes another inventory action.

Draft and inactive rules remain available for review without affecting execution.

Why it matters: Retail policy can guide individual inventory decisions across the network while the conditions behind each rule remain visible to the team.


Teams build conditions from the retailer’s available attributes and operating measures, then choose the supported action. The attribute catalog reflects the data available for that retailer.

Only active rules are applied during processing. This gives teams a way to prepare and review changes before making them part of the operating cycle.
